UNWTO responded to Zimbabwe’s request to add an agenda point to the in September upcoming UNWTO General Assembly debate in Chengdu, China.
The minister did not release a copy of the response but told WorldTourismWire the issue was with his legal team. He added: “I am sure we will prevail.”
The next UNWTO General Assembly is set for September to be held in Chengdu, China. The Minister for Tourism and Hospitality from Zimbabwe, Dr .Walter Mzembi had requested an agenda point added to the agenda to discuss the May 12 recommendation by the UNWTO Executive Council for the new Secretary General.
